Abuse Policy

Reporting and preventing the misuse of GlobeTier infrastructure to ensure a secure digital environment for our global community.

1. Scope and Types of Abuse

GlobeTier Infrastructure Solutions (“GlobeTier”) is committed to maintaining a secure and reliable platform. This Abuse Policy defines prohibited activities and outlines our procedures for addressing violations of our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

Abuse refers to any activity hosted on or conducted through GlobeTier infrastructure that violates legal standards or harms third parties, including:

  • Spam and Unsolicited Email: Unauthorized bulk mailing, commercial advertisements without consent, and phishing campaigns.
  • Malicious Content: Distribution of malware, viruses, ransomware, or hosting command-and-control (C&C) servers.
  • Cyber Attacks: Participation in DDoS attacks, port scanning, or any unauthorized access attempts (hacking).
  • Illegal Content: Content that violates laws in Chile, the USA, the UK, or Egypt, including fraud, hate speech, or terrorist propaganda.
  • Intellectual Property Infringement: Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted music, films, software, or digital assets (Piracy).

2. How to Report Abuse

If you identify a violation originating from GlobeTier's network, please submit a detailed report via the following channels:

  • Email: abuse@globetier.com (Primary Channel).
  • Technical Requirements: Reports should be submitted in English to ensure rapid processing by our global security team.

To ensure a swift investigation, your report should include:

  • The type of violation (e.g., spam, phishing, malware).
  • The specific IP Address, URL, or Domain involved.
  • Supporting evidence: Full email headers (for spam), log entries, or screenshots of the infringing content.
  • Your contact information for follow-up inquiries.

3. Investigation and Enforcement

GlobeTier investigates all valid abuse reports within a reasonable timeframe. Security threats such as active phishing or malware distribution receive immediate priority.

  • Verification: Our team verifies the evidence and may contact the account holder for clarification.
  • Actions: Confirmed violations may lead to a formal warning, immediate content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination of service.
  • No Refunds: Services terminated due to severe abuse or illegal activities are not eligible for refunds.

4. Legal Compliance and Responsibility

Law Enforcement: GlobeTier cooperates with authorized legal and governmental bodies in our operating jurisdictions. Personal data and logs will only be shared upon receipt of a valid court order or subpoena from relevant authorities in Chile, the USA, the UK, or Egypt.

Client Responsibility: The account owner is solely responsible for all content and activity associated with their services. GlobeTier acts as a technical infrastructure provider and does not proactively monitor user content but will act decisively upon discovery of abuse.
